  14. You can play with this file to get a feel for the features available to
  15. you in Olprint.
  16.         I have added other messages from my favorite local BBS.
  17.  
  18.         Olprint will let you create and load this file for viewing and
  19. printing but will not let you write it to disk as it would make no sense
  20. to over write the same file with the same file.
  21. Nor can you PARSE it.
  22.  
  23.         So play around with it and have fun.
  24. You can't mess anything up but if you haven't run the SETUPOLP.EXE
  25. program then please exit Olprint now and run it as it is needed.
  26. It won't take but a couple of seconds.

  65. I just happen to know of one.  (if you use SLMR or OLX)
  66. It will be released to the public on December 4th, 1995.

  74.         Offline Message Printer. Version 3.01
  75. Last release version was 2.1  The difference between the two versions is
  76. night and day.

  78. It does some really neat things with your saved messages and allows you
  79. to archive it all.
  80. It is fast and easy and it can plug right in to your mail reader with no
  81. headaches or run it by its self.
  82. I would love to go into more detail but it would take up too much space.

  85.          Takes up less than 390k on the hard drive.

  173.                 Hints On Uploading ANSI Into Messages:
  174. -----------------------------------------------------------------------
  175.    To load any ANSI screen put it into THE DRAW --or any other
  176. ANSI-making program that will allow you to 'SAVE' the screen at 70
  177. characters-per-line (rather than the default of 255).   Most message
  178. bases will NOT allow upload of more than 72 characters per line --no
  179. matter WHAT the characters consist of.  Thus your ANSI screen will come
  180. through garbled by word-wrap.
  181.  
  182.     Then take the ANSI screen saved at 70 and "import" it into your
  183. off-line mail reader.  SLMR or OLX uses the command ALT R to load a
  184. "text" file.  An ANSI screen will load just like a text file, as long
  185. as it's saved at 70.
  186.  
  187.     If you want the art to display automatically on SLMR, OLX, or
  188. many other common mail readers, just put the word [aNSIART] in the
  189. top, left corner...   ALL CAPS...
  190.  
  191.     ANSI uploaded through an offline mail-reader WILL NOT display
  192. properly when read online.

  620. csu/dsu a router and a connection to the Internet ranging from a 128k
  621. connect on up, and unix or one of its Varients.  I suggest Free BSD

  646.      search for '*.zip' to find all zip files on my local drive. The MOZ

  648.      access the internet site.  It will get the graphic from your cache
  649.      instead of getting it from the site again. MUCH FASTER.

  676. all the sites you've been to on the Internet.  I believe it's called
  677. "Internet Book", or something along those lines.  If I remember
  678. correctly you can put WWW, FTP, Gopher, and just about any site you want
  679. in it.

  756. Sounds like there's a WIN-OS/2 session in the background.
  757. If you manage to kill that and restart WIN-OS/2 everything
  758. should be fine.

  760. If this happens even after you restart OS/2, edit your config.sys so that
  761. there's a line which says 'SET
  762. RESTARTOBJECTS=STARTUPFOLDERSONLY'.  This should stop the
  763. misbehaving WIN-OS/2 session from restarting.
